I like this notion of getting on the thought polices radar as a rite of passage.

We could always turn it into a game and call it occultism.

Now THIS piece has - as all the cool kids say these days - "aged well.'

Powerful words, Rachel. Glad you shared it...

This is beautiful. Holy shit and from 2010. I found a poem I wrote called “Enslaved” in ‘09 or 08 a few months back. This inspires me to share it. How strange how accurate our perception of things were back then when you compare to what is happening today. Thank you for sharing this I love it, and the art is 🔥 too

The ones in charge of enforcing ideology can imprison us, yet they are unable to detain the ideas that will firmly establish in the thoughts of the majority, endangering their control over the state's ideology enforcement.

Sadly, the thought police will become a real thing.

We are seeing it already.

They really will come to arrest all of those who do not tow the party line.

Not even kidding.

Not a conspiracy theorist.

Actual conspiracy theorist are no longer able to compete with the horrors that are becoming reality.

When you get to that chilled resting spot, you won't take it as much of a rite of passage. You won't be venerated in your cell, not in the minimum. In fact, you'll be stripped of every bit of self-respect you've accumulated, or that will be the intent.

May I suggest staying with your "Haywire Alias", and don't do facial recognition.

It's a little different once you've actually been canceled but I remain true to the romantic sentiment of it all.
