Get ready for the Nietzschean Book Club at The Cultural Futurist
Join us for a Dionysian Re-Enchantment
Hello, elite human capitalists. I’m going to begin hosting book clubs here at The Cultural Futurist, and I’ve decided the first book for us to discuss is The Birth of Tragedy by no other than my spiritual grandfather Friedrich Nietzsche. This is not a book club for people who think they’re “based” because they’ve read Bronze Age Mindset. This is a book club for thoughts and ideas that are based on the works of Nietzsche. I’ve already taken out the Fake Nietzschean’s and their post-left groupies here. (shoutout to the Tree of Woe for allowing me to guestpost my hate in a passionate setting) I invite all of you to ignore the rabble in the marketplace and join me for a Dionysian Re-Enchantment.
This is a book club for freethinkers who believe in the true spirit of vitalism, stray away from the pack without fear, and strive for greatness no matter the circumstance. I don’t want to hear about your rape fantasies. What are you, a frail withering groupie? Begone! Now, I’m not saying you can’t show up if you’re in the BAP ecosystem. For all I care, you could be managing BAP at a DC think tank right now. As long as you’re a freethinker who can stand alone through the test of time you are welcome to join us. No slave moralists allowed. Do not show me resentment for laying down the law.
Why have I picked The Birth of Tragedy as a starting point? I mean, look around you! I also think we’re at a spiritual crossroads that needs to be addressed. We’re due for a Dionysian re-enchantment. The Birth of Tragedy is unique in that it venerates the spirit of music that many people feel has been obliterated from the West. You don’t need to be a scholar of Nietzsche to attend. It’s actually fine if you haven’t read any of his books, as long as you’re eager to learn. I do recommend that you download The Birth of Tragedy here if you don’t already own a copy. There will be 5 books discussed in this series, and their order is as follows:
The Birth of Tragedy
Twilight of the Idols
Thus Spoke Zarathustra
Beyond Good and Evil
On the Genealogy of Morals
The Nietzschean Book Club will be held every other month here at The Cultural Futurist. This will give everyone the opportunity to digest these books rather than skim through them like dilettantes. This selection of books does not mean that other works of Nietzsche are off-limits. It simply means that we need some Apollonian structure up in here. Subscribers are welcome to discuss any and all of Nietzsche’s books, in addition to his ideas and how they play a role in our modern era. As for this book club feature at The Cultural Futurist, we’ll move onto a new philosopher or era of history after we’re finished with the Nietzschean series, but right now let us speak only of the present. After all, its occurrence is eternal.
In the spirit of abundance, I’ve decided to offer a 60% off lifetime discount to anyone who joins The Cultural Futurist as a paid subscriber for the rest of May. You won’t find a better deal in Israel, and I say this as a Jewish American Dissident. You do not want to wait until June when this offer will already be dead. Herein lies a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of the cultural vanguard. You’ll be able to take part in my book clubs and attend my salons. You’ll even be able to join my private group chat and view all of my locked posts. What are you waiting for?
The first Nietzschean Book Club will take place on May 25th @ 4 PM EST. If you become a paid subscriber you’ll see the Zoom link under the cut. If you’re already a paid subscriber, you’re good to go. I’m looking forward to seeing you soon, even if you just want to come hang out. What matters is that you’re a freethinker who is on the level. Vitalism never died. It was only God who did.
